Girls room

This summer has been crazy!  I went to Italy for 3 weeks while Geppetto took the rest of the kids to Mexico, we then went to Arizona for a wedding in the middle of July, we then went to a graduation in Idaho the following week.  

All this means that besides the fireplace, nothing else got done around the house, so before the next wave of guests we decided to get the last bedroom done.  This bedroom is skinny and long, and very dark in colors, it's in the basement ...it needs some light.

The plan: paint, re floor, change the color and separate the bunk beds, build a temporary partition to create wall space since 2 girls will share this room.

We know that when me and Geppetto work together projects move along a lot faster.  I primered and painted this room in one day, and the floor was done in a couple of nights after Geppetto got home which means that if we had a whole day to do this it would have taken us a day to floor and a day and a half to paint.
