Flooring choices

As most of you know me, you know that I hate carpet with a passion for many reasons.  It's dirty, even after you clean it, it wears out, it traps dust, it makes a small room look smaller....I could go on and on. OK, maybe one more....carpet is gross!  So in this house the carpet will  have to come out completely for me to be happy.  These are the choices for flooring.

The wood tile we picked will go in the living rooms, family room, hallways, stairs, and kitchen.  The bathrooms, all 3 of them will have a different style of tile.  We have not picked them since it will be the last thing we do, and most extensive.

This laminate floor will go into every bedroom.  It looks dark but it has many different shades, lighter washed out pieces with dark ones.  These 2 planks don't do it justice, but trust me it's beautiful....and of course better than carpet and cleaner.  BTW it is not cold to walk on it.
